Size & Fit Guide
The Precision Strap is one adjustable size. It is not sized S/M/L — you tighten it to your leg with the buckle straps. This page tells you how to check it will fit you, and how to position it so it actually works.

How to measure yourself (takes 30 seconds)
- Stand up straight with your leg relaxed.
- Find your kneecap and move 2–3 cm below it — you should feel a firm band of tendon.
- Wrap a tape measure around your leg at that exact point.
- Note the number. That is your fit measurement — not the measurement around the middle of your kneecap.
If your measurement is at the very top or bottom of the normal adult range, message us before ordering and we will tell you honestly whether it will work for you.
How to position it
- Sit down and bend your knee to about 45°. Fitting it with a straight leg is the most common mistake — it ends up too loose when you move.
- Place the padded shell directly on the tendon below the kneecap, not over the kneecap itself.
- Tighten the buckles until it feels firm and stays put.
- Stand up, bend and straighten a few times. It should not slide down.
How tight is too tight
You should be able to slide one finger under the strap. If you feel tingling, numbness, throbbing, colour change below the knee, or it leaves a deep indent in your skin — it is too tight. Loosen it. Tighter is not more effective; correct placement is.
Wearing it under clothing
The shell is 2 cm deep, so it sits comfortably under loose trousers, tracksuit bottoms and jeans. Under skinny jeans or compression leggings you will see a visible ridge — most people wear it over leggings instead.
